Reading Passages - Level E

Mind Bloom Education Reading Passages are highly structured, high-interest texts developed specifically to support the literacy development of deaf and hard of hearing (DHH) students. Featuring a mix of fiction and nonfiction topics, every passage utilizes controlled vocabulary, clear sentence structures, and predictable layouts to reduce visual load while building reading confidence, language skills, and comprehension.
 
This Level E Reading Passages set includes:

Topics include biographies of Deaf celebrities, real-world science concepts, life milestones, civics, and social-emotional relationship stories 
At least 90% of the words are from the Levels A-E Mind Bloom Education word lists
Includes sentences with increasing length and grammatical complexity with an image on every page to support the text
Each passage comes in 2 formats: line-by-line and standard paragraphs to help transition students to traditional written text.
4 multiple-choice and 1 open-response question per passage (answer key included)
Text-based recall questions, with inference questions spread throughout the set
